Troops of Operation Hadin Kai Neutralize 24 Boko Haram Insurgents and Recover Weapons in Offensive Operations

The troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have carried out successful kinetic operations against Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in the North East Theatre of operations, eliminating several terrorists between July 4-9, 2025. The operations were conducted in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force, hunters, and close air support from the Air Component.



On July 4, 2025, troops ambushed terrorists at Platari, neutralizing 3 insurgents. The troops also recovered motorcycles and spare parts, knapsack sprayers, pesticides, and terrorists' food items. In another operation, troops ambushed terrorists at Kawuri, eliminating 2 insurgents and recovering packets of salt, food seasoning, detergents, and other sundry items.

On July 5, 2025, troops intercepted terrorists attempting to access the Madarari Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp, killing one terrorist and recovering several rounds of ammunition. On July 6, 2025, troops conducted a night ambush at Leno Kura, neutralizing 3 terrorists.

On July 7, 2025, troops ambushed terrorists' logistics suppliers, neutralizing 2 insurgents and recovering bicycles, sacks of slippers, torchlights, batteries, detergents, salt, and rubber shoes. On July 8, 2025, troops conducted clearance operations at Bula Marwa, eliminating an insurgent and recovering a gun, terrorists' uniforms, and destroying their life-supporting structures.

Troops also conducted joint operations with the Civilian Joint Task Force and hunters, neutralizing several terrorists and recovering weapons and motorcycles. On July 9, 2025, troops conducted a clearance operation in JAS/ISWAP enclave at Tangalanga and Bula Marwa, eliminating 3 insurgents and recovering six AK 47 rifles, 47 magazines, and ninety rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.

The neutralization of 24 insurgents with close air support underscores the determination, collaboration, and concerted efforts by the troops of OPHK to ensure terrorists are placed on the back foot, creating a conducive environment for socio-economic activities to thrive in the North East region.
