Residents of ULO Road in Asaba, Delta State, Lament Over Poor Road Conditions
Residents of ULO Road in Asaba, Delta State, have expressed frustration and disappointment over the deplorable state of their road. Despite being part of the state capital, the road has been neglected for far too long, leaving residents to suffer the consequences.
One resident asked, "Why should we pay taxes to the Delta State Government without receiving basic amenities like good roads? It's unacceptable that our road is in such a terrible state, while the government collects taxes from us without providing us with the necessary infrastructure."
Another resident lamented, "It's a shame that in an oil-producing state like Delta, our roads are in such a poor condition. We urge the government to take immediate action to repair our road and provide us with the basic amenities we deserve."
The residents are calling on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to direct the Delta State Ministry of Works - Highways and Urban to take immediate action to repair ULO Road. They believe that the government has a responsibility to provide basic infrastructure to its citizens and that it's time for the government to take action.
A resident said, "We don't need empty promises from the government; we need good roads that can facilitate our daily activities. We urge the government to prioritize our needs and provide us with the necessary infrastructure to improve our quality of life."
