PDP Leadership Visits Shot Anambra Guber Candidate, Jude Ezenwafor, in Hospital

The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, paid a visit to Amb. Jude Ezenwafor, the party's gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State, at a hospital in Abuja. Ezenwafor was recently ambushed and shot by unknown gunmen, leaving him with serious injuries.


The attack occurred while Ezenwafor was returning from an appointment in Abuja. The gunmen ambushed his vehicle and opened fire, leaving him with multiple bullet wounds. Fortunately, Ezenwafor was rushed to the hospital and is currently receiving treatment.

Damagum was accompanied by Bauchi State Governor and chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed, and the Speaker of Bauchi State. The delegation expressed sadness over the incident and wished Ezenwafor a quick recovery. They also prayed for God's love and support for the candidate during this challenging time.

The PDP leadership's visit to Ezenwafor is a demonstration of the party's support and solidarity with its candidate. The party's leaders condemned the attack and called for swift action to apprehend the perpetrators.
