OLANGO WILDLIFE PARK OPENS IN ANAMBRA, SETS TO PROMOTE ECO-TOURISM AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

The Olango Wildlife Park has officially opened its doors to the public in Amawbia, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The park, which is set to promote eco-tourism and wildlife conservation, was commissioned by the Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Felix Odimegwu.

The Managing Director of the park, Mr. Arinzechukwu Okeke, also made a similar plea, noting that the park has answered the Public-Private-Community Partnership (PPCP) call of the state government.

Some students who visited the park expressed their delight at the experience. Miss Chidera Ndubisi and Destiny Azubuike, both students, said the park is rich in knowledge and suitable for relaxation. They advised schools to adopt the park as their first choice for field excursions.
