Katsina Governor Visits Students in China, Pledges Continued Support

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has visited students from Katsina studying in China under the state's foreign scholarship program. The visit took place on June 16, 2025, at Xuzhou University of Technology (XZUT) in Jiangsu Province.




Governor Radda met with 75 students pursuing degrees in Biological Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, representing all 34 Local Government Areas of Katsina State. The students received the Governor with gratitude and presented him with an award for his support and care.k

During the visit, Governor Radda expressed his commitment to the students' education and well-being, stating, "You are the face of tomorrow. Katsina is not just waiting for your return with certificates; we are waiting for your ideas, innovation, and readiness to make a difference."

The Governor encouraged the students to stay focused, remain prayerful, and uphold the values they were raised with, advising them to "read your Qur’an regularly, stay disciplined, and always carry the pride of Katsina wherever you go."

Governor Radda was accompanied on the visit by his wife, Hajiya Fatima Dikko Radda, and other key officials.
