Kaduna State Government to Commence Refund for Revoked Houses
The Kaduna State Government has announced that it will commence payment on Monday, 7th July, 2025, to individuals who purchased houses at Queen Amina College Kaduna, Alhuda-huda College Zaria, and Government Commercial College Zaria. The government had revoked the sales of these institutional houses in overriding public interest.
The government had earlier pledged to refund amounts paid in respect of the sold houses, as directed by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State. The refund is part of the government's efforts to prioritize the development of human capital and create a conducive learning environment.
Beneficiaries of the refund are required to present the following documents to collect their cheques:
- Evidence of payment
- A valid means of identification (voter’s cards, National ID card, etc.)
- Bank details (Bank name, Account number, a Bank Verification Number slip)
- A recent statement of account
- Two passport photographs
The cheques will be available for collection at the Secretariat of the Sale of Non-Essential Government Houses, Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kawo.
