GSU Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Holds 6th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gombe State University, held its 6th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the graduating class of 2025 on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The ceremony, which took place at the Kadir Rasheed Hall, was attended by distinguished guests, faculty members, professional bodies, and families of the inductees.



The event drew a large attendance of notable individuals, including faculty members, professional bodies, and families of the inductees. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Abdulkadir Umar Zezi, along with invited dignitaries, commended the graduates for their dedication and resilience throughout their academic journey.

The highlight of the event was the administration of the Pharmacist's Oath by the representative of the Registrar, Pharm. Gwa Aondoseer Emmanuel, FSI, North East Zonal Officer. This symbolic act marked the official transition of the students into professional practice, signifying their commitment to upholding the principles and ethics of the pharmaceutical profession.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, congratulated the graduating students and admonished them to make the university proud. He emphasized that the graduates are "Primus Inter Pares" - first among their equals, and urged them to apply their knowledge and skills in their diverse areas of practice. He also charged them to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in their practice.
