Edo State Govt Graduates 60 Security Personnel, Pledges More to Boost Security

The Edo State Government has graduated 60 security personnel from the Edo State Security Corps training program. These personnel will be responsible for piloting the Security Administrative Departments at the Headquarters in Benin City.
The State Deputy Corps Commandant, CSP Richard Balogun (rtd.), emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents in Edo State. He stated that the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration is dedicated to providing security for residents and promoting peace and economic growth in the state.
CSP Balogun stressed the importance of collaboration between security personnel and other agencies in fighting crimes. He emphasized that effective crime fighting can be achieved through teamwork, tactics, intelligence, and bravery.
The recruits were reminded of the code of conduct, which includes essential values such as punctuality, selfless service, discipline, respect for constituted authorities and seniors, and avoidance of gossip and absenteeism.
The government has expressed its readiness to strengthen security in the state by recruiting and training more personnel to curb crimes and promote peace, security, investments, and economic growth. This development demonstrates the Edo State Government's efforts to prioritize the safety and well-being of its citizens.
