Deputy Governor Hosts Association of Resident Doctors, FMC Yenagoa

The Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, recently played host to the leadership of the Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yenagoa Branch, at his office in Creek Haven, Yenagoa.



During the meeting, the association requested government support, and Senator Ewhrudjakpo reaffirmed the government's commitment to providing assistance where necessary. However, he encouraged the medical body to prioritize dialogue and exhaust all avenues of peaceful engagement before considering strike action.

The Deputy Governor emphasized that the administration of Governor Douye Diri is both responsible and responsive, particularly when it comes to the healthcare needs and overall well-being of the people. "It is important to continually emphasize that the administration of Governor Douye Diri is both responsible and responsive, especially when it comes to the healthcare needs and overall well-being of our people," he said.

Senator Ewhrudjakpo assured the association that the government is committed to addressing the healthcare needs of the people. "Bayelsa is focused. God bless Bayelsa State," he added.
