Delta State Government Warns Public About Scammers Using SSG's Name

The Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, has issued a warning to members of the public about scammers using his name and office to defraud unsuspecting citizens. The warning was contained in a statement released on Tuesday by the SSG's office.



According to the statement, the scammers have been using the phone number 08023138247 and a fake WhatsApp account with Dr. Emu's photo to contact members of the public. They reportedly offer fake political appointments and non-existent contract opportunities in the name of the state government.

The SSG's office has alerted the public to be cautious of these scammers and to verify any information or opportunities purportedly coming from the state government. The public is advised to report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
