BREAKING: Nigerian Railway Corporation Launches Train Services in Jos

Jos, Nigeria - In a significant development, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has launched train services in Jos, Plateau State. The service commenced on Monday, July 14th, 2025, and is expected to provide a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for residents and visitors in the region.



According to the NRC, the trains will operate four daily trips between Bukuru and Jos Terminus, with stops at Old Airport and Dogon Karfe stations. The schedule for the first day includes a morning trip from Bukuru to Jos, departing at 06:50 AM and arriving at 07:26 AM, and an evening trip from Jos to Bukuru, departing at 04:20 PM and arriving at 04:56 PM.

The NRC has emphasized its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient rail services to the people of Plateau State. The corporation has invested heavily in the maintenance and upgrade of its infrastructure, including tracks, trains, and stations, to ensure a smooth and safe journey for passengers.
