Breaking News: Family of Late 14-Year-Old Wisdom Chukwudi Drops Charges Against Police Officer

The family of late 14-year-old Wisdom Chukwudi has decided to drop all charges against the police officer who drove the truck that killed the boy. The officer, Oyinkuro from Bayelsa State, reached out to the family on June 27, 2025, and they unanimously decided to let go of the case.



The family has laid Wisdom to rest, and the community has come together to mourn the loss of the young boy. The family appreciates the efforts of everyone who lent their voices to the matter, including the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Nigeria Police Force, and various human rights groups.
