Benue Gov Mourns Death of Former Lawmaker, Hon. Aondoana

Makurdi - Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condoled with the family and friends of Hon. Dr. Prince Simon Aondoana Adaga, a former member of the House of Representatives, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025.



The governor described the late lawmaker as an elderstatesman and a great pillar of his people, who made significant contributions to the development of Gwer/Gwer West constituency and Benue State. He noted that the late politician's dedication to public service and his commitment to the welfare of his people will always be remembered.

In a statement, the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, said the governor urged the people of Benue to take solace in the fact that the late Prince Aondoana lived a life of fulfillment, marked by service, compassion, and purpose. He prayed for God's consolation for the family and eternal rest for the deceased.

The governor's condolence message highlights the impact of the late lawmaker's work on the lives of the people of Benue State. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of leaders.
