ADC Protem Chairman Urges Members to Register with Party
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Protem Chairman in Benue State, Rt. Hon Terngu Tsegba, has urged members of the ADC Riders group to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise and register massively with the party at their various council wards.
Chief Tsegba made the call during a courtesy visit by the group officials and members to the Party Secretariat in Makurdi. He assured the group that ADC is a party for all and that members would have equal opportunities, regardless of age or societal status.
The former Speaker Pro-Tempore emphasized that security of lives and property would be a major concern for the party when it comes to power in 2027. He noted that many motorcycle riders have lost their sources of livelihood due to insecurity in the state.
The Chairman of the group, Reuben Iyo, and his Secretary, Jeremiah Iorlamo, stated that they had lost confidence in their previous political affiliations and were drawn to the ADC's inclusive nature. They pledged to use their time and resources to mobilize other riders and like-minded individuals to join the party.
The event included the presentation of party souvenirs to the group, with a promise of inclusive involvement in future party activities. A minute of silence was observed for the late Mrs. Dinah Shiminenge Ayua, mother of the State ADC Protem Publicity Secretary, Hon Stevie Ayua, who passed away after a brief illness.
The ADC Protem Chairman's call to action reflects the party's commitment to growth and inclusivity. The party's promise to prioritize security and provide opportunities for all members is likely to attract more supporters and strengthen its presence in Benue State.
