ABIA STATE HOSTS 48TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF NIGERIAN OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION

Abia State had the privilege of hosting the 48th Annual Conference of the Nigerian Optometric Association, which was graced by the wife of the Governor of Abia State, Priscilla C Otti, at the International Conference Center, Umuahia. The conference brought together professionals in the field of optometry to share knowledge, showcase innovations, and celebrate excellence.
During the Dinner/Awards and Gala Night, Priscilla C Otti commended the association for their impactful activities, particularly their outstanding medical outreach that brought vital eye care services to many in need. She expressed gratitude for choosing Abia State as their conference venue and was delighted to present fellowship awards to deserving members, including Dr. Betty Emeka-Obasi, Administrator of the Abia State Eyecare Management Bureau.
Hosting the Nigerian Optometric Association in Abia State was an honor, and though they will be missed, the bonds forged will surely endure. The conference provided an opportunity for the state to showcase its hospitality and commitment to promoting eye care services.
