Prof. Audi requested land close to the capital for the project and praised the Governor's humility, responsiveness, and ongoing support to the Corps.
Governor Otti emphasized the importance of security to governance, development, and social stability, noting that while Abia has remained relatively peaceful, his administration continues to work proactively to prevent crime. He revealed that earlier that day, security agencies had successfully cleared a criminal hideout in Isiukwuato. The Governor directed the State Commissioner for Lands to work with his office to identify and allocate a suitable site for the new command headquarters before the week runs out.
