PETER OBI'S BETRAYAL: Okonkwo Slams Obi Over Labour Party Crisis

A former spokesperson of the Labour Party, Kenneth Okonkwo, has leveled serious accusations against the party's former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, alleging betrayal and poor management of the party's leadership crisis. In a recent interview with Symfoni TV, Okonkwo claimed that Obi disregarded his counsel and chose to collaborate with individuals he had previously criticized for their actions.

According to Okonkwo, Obi was advised against reconciling with the Abure-led faction due to concerns about their democratic credentials and potential destabilizing influence. Despite this warning, Obi reportedly went ahead to publicly endorse the Abure-led faction, sparking a rift with Okonkwo.

Okonkwo claims Obi betrayed him by ignoring his advice and collaborating with the Abure-led faction. He expressed concerns about the faction's democratic credentials and potential to destabilize the party.

Obi publicly endorsed the Abure-led faction, despite previous criticism of their actions. Okonkwo accused Obi of failing to effectively manage the party's leadership crisis, leading to further divisions and instability.

Okonkwo stated that he would not follow Obi if he continued to work with the Abure-led faction, citing concerns about integrity and consistency.

This development highlights the ongoing internal conflicts within the Labour Party and raises questions about the party's future direction and unity. The allegations made by Okonkwo have sparked a heated debate among party members and supporters, with some calling for Obi to clarify his position and others demanding greater transparency and accountability in the party's leadership.
