KATSINA LG CHAIRMAN SEEKS SUPPORT FOR LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS, FARMERS FROM GEEP

The Executive Chairman of Katsina Local Government Council, Hon. Isah Miqdad AD-Saude, has paid a courtesy visit to the National Coordinator of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), Alhaji Hamza Ibrahim Baba, to request targeted support for small-scale business owners and rural farmers in Katsina.



During the visit, Hon. AD-Saude emphasized the need for practical assistance at the grassroots level to improve the local economy and reduce dependency. He expressed the council's commitment to lifting people through real opportunities and opening doors for farmers and entrepreneurs.


Alhaji Hamza Ibrahim Baba welcomed the Chairman and noted that GEEP is planning new projects to help small businesses and rural producers. He confirmed that Katsina Local Government would be considered in the next phase of outreach, stating that the program's focus is on practical results for communities.


The visit is part of Katsina Local Government's effort to attract programs that support job creation, agriculture, and small business growth across the council area.
