KADUNA STATE WITNESSES MASS DEFECTION AS PDP CHIEFTAINS JOIN APC

Kaduna, June 18, 2025 - Thousands of supporters of former PDP Governorship aspirant, Hon. Mohammed Sani Sidi, have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a mass decampment at the Trade Fair Complex, Kaduna. The ceremony was chaired by Governor Uba Sani, who warmly welcomed the new members and assured them of unwavering support.



The event was attended by prominent government officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON. Governor Sani urged the defected members to be steadfast in their participation in party activities, emphasizing the APC's commitment to delivering on its mandate and sustaining peace in Kaduna State.


This development further strengthens the APC's position in Kaduna State, solidifying Governor Sani's leadership. The Governor has been instrumental in driving development in the state, as evident in the recently presented N790 billion 2025 budget, which prioritizes key sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, agriculture, security, and social welfare.
