Kaduna Governor Visits Survivors of Plateau Attack
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State paid a visit to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna, to commiserate with survivors of a tragic incident in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident resulted in the brutal murder of innocent citizens of Kaduna State, with several others sustaining varying degrees of injuries.
Governor Sani strongly condemned the attack, describing the ordeal faced by the survivors as "truly horrifying." He expressed relief that the survivors were recuperating under medical care and reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
The Governor noted that arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the search for other suspects continues. He assured that the Kaduna State Government will not relent until all those responsible face the full weight of the law.
Governor Sani also directed the Medical Director of the hospital to ensure the victims receive the best possible care. The Kaduna State Government has taken full responsibility for their treatment and will provide psychosocial counseling to help them heal from the trauma before reuniting them with their families and reintegrating them into society.
