BREAKING: Bauchi Governor Donates ₦200 Million to Windstorm Victims

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has shown compassion and prompt action in response to the recent windstorm that ravaged Dass Local Government Area. The Governor visited the affected area and announced a ₦200 million relief package for victims.



Relief Package Details


₦100 million to be disbursed directly to victims

₦100 million for purchase and distribution of building materials to aid reconstruction efforts.


The Governor also directed the establishment of shelter belts in affected areas to serve as protection against future windstorms.

The Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, and the Chairman of Dass LGA, Mohammed Jibo, have commended Governor Mohammed for his prompt response and generous donation.
