Anambra Police Arrest Suspect in Kidnapping Plot

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 24-year-old suspect, Muanaenye Chekwube Victor, for allegedly planning and executing a kidnapping plot with his gang members. The suspect lured his friend to escort him to see another friend, only to be abducted by his own accomplices.



The police investigation revealed that Victor and his gang collected a ransom in dollars equivalent to ₦5,300,000 before releasing the victim. The suspect has confessed to the crime and is cooperating with the police to apprehend his accomplices.

The Anambra State Police Command has demonstrated its commitment to improving safety and security in the state by exposing and arresting the suspect. The police will ensure that justice is served by prosecuting the suspect and his accomplices upon conclusion of the investigation.
