Anambra Governor Presents Certificates to Traditional Rulers

The Governor of Anambra State has presented certificates of recognition to four traditional rulers in the state. The ceremony took place at the Lighthouse in Awka.



The honored monarchs are:


- HRM Engr. Sir Augustine Chinedum Emelobe - Ezeokpoko II of Oba

- HRH Igwe Chinonso Ezeokafor (Ike Ikenga III)

- HRH Igwe Ifeanyi Okonkwo — Ichi

- HRH Igwe Sunday Emmanuel Udoji Ozoemena (Igwe Oranyelu I of Ifite Anam)


In his remarks, the Governor congratulated the traditional rulers and charged them to promote unity, peace, and harmony in their communities. He also urged them to govern according to their town constitutions and serve as moral compasses for their people.


The Governor's gesture is seen as a way of promoting traditional institutions and fostering development in the state.
